Measuring a gargantuan 4′-0″ x 6′-11″, this poster contains 1938 individual photographs of things around Tokyo: signage, typeography, roadworks, and most of all, characters. Characters are everywhere and there’s a character for everything!
The idea of this poster is to capture the feeling of Tokyo without taking pictures of people or scenes. In other words, can I use lots of little pictures to show the big picture? It’s random details that make up the city, details that are colourful and interesting, but from a distance become a mass of gray. Looking at this poster you get a sense of the details that make up the city, but standing back you see the colourless randomness that is Tokyo.
Yes, prints are available for purchase on heavyweight, archival photo paper.
Thanks to Anne Koyama and Aaron Leighton for all the support!

-Dolfins are born with moustaches!
-A woodpecker pecks trees 12000 times a day!
-The hummingbird is the only bird that can fly backwards!
-An elephant’s trunk contains 40000 muscles! Humans: 630.
-When kangaroos are born they can fit in a teaspoon!
Now you can use this information to astound your dimmer friends.

This tough customer has been spotted lurking around southern Florida’s swamps. Eyewitnesses say that they smell the fetid fur of this Bigfoot-like creature before seeing him. I guess that makes them nosewitnesses. [sorry]

Hey, look at this! An Italian magazine, Pig, interviewed us [Trio Magnus, that is] in their latest issue! It’s very weird to see out words translated into another language. So if you find yourself in Italy soon, pick up a Pig magazine, have a seat at the nearest café, order a cappuccino and have a read (provided your Italian skills are up to snuff).
Thanks to senior editor Daniela Sanziani  in Milano for finding us, interviewing us and devoting six whole pages to us!!! Cool!

Ha! Here are a couple of holiday greeting images I did for Ghostmilk for 2006 and 2007. It’s Ghost vs. Snowman, and Snowman vs. Ghost! And milk. And fire.
I did these completely digitally (Illustrator and Photoshop)… I tried to not make them sterile as some digital art can be.
